Soopiesounds began digging and djing in the mid-90s. The music unearthed by that era’s dealers, hip hop producers and jazz club djs led to lifelong listening directions.

Now emerging into the pale grey of a wintry London afternoon to play his first set for Out of the Wood on WNBC, Soopiesounds will be playing for a cozy, contemplative listen. Maybe get a glass of something. Expect mellow vintage vinyl with a few pops and crackles, and percolating grooves from around the world.
